RJL properties Ltd was born back in 2015 by husband and wife team, Lynsey and Rob Mason.
It stemmed from a desire to create good quality, legislation compliant homes for rent, whilst combining a high level of service, and providing support for those that are looking to make a house their home.
Today we currently work with private tenants, supported tenants, charities and social housing providers, across Liverpool, Birmingham and Essex, to help ful fill their accommodation requirements.
Our aim it to utilise disused housing stock and bring back to a habitable state, or develop defunct buildings for the residential market. On occasions we do take over properties from Landlords that are looking to exit the market without evicting their tenant.
We spent 2016 - 2019 working with other lettings managers, and realised quickly that we were just another cash cow for them. We were looking for value add from them, advice, deals maybe, but ultimately felt let down by their service and over inflated prices. We decided to self manage, for a couple of years, then based on solid systems and support, created our own Asset Management business off the back of demand from some family investors.
This business was based on the Lettings model, but with added benefit of looking at the property Asset wholistically, building in support for efficiencies, funding models, advice and Analysis based on our experience as Landlords and Developers.
Lynsey has been involved in financial and corporate services since leaving college with her diploma at the age of 19. For the last 16 years Lynsey has been working with High Net Worth individuals and Corporations around the world to structure, advise and manage their businesses, as well as support their Recruitment requirements and Fiduciary services.
Although Lynsey still has involvement with her corporate clients, she also manages the Operations of the RJL Group by working with our clients, partners and over seeing acquisitions and projects.

Rob started his career in the Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry after leaving school with 3 A levels in PE and Advance Business. Rob has has been Producing, Supervising and Managing within the Healthcare sector since 2009.
Rob decided to go full time on their businesses in 2019 and dedicate all their time to focus on their passion of property and problem solving. Management of the portfolio came in house so the service demands could exceed the expectations of customers. Rob now over sees the Finance Management of the RJL Group of Companies whilst working with Lynsey to source, deliver deals and manage the Company Portfolio.

Ivan is key member of the support team that carries out our viewings for both properties we let and acquire for both ourselves, and our investors. He's the boots on the ground that adds expertise to the knowledge we have in the Liverpool housing market and allows us to keep our fingers on the pulse.
Ivan is also qualified to carry out our high quality and in-depth inventories, check in/ out reports, and mid tenancy check ups. We high recommend these reports at the start and throughout the tenancy to protect yourself and your asset. Everything is meticulously detailed and water tight in these reports so any damage or claim can be well covered, as well as identifying any future problems that could arise.

Father and Sons team, Darren, Mike and Chris form our building and maintenance team, most of our recent projects have been completed by them and some have been documented through our facebook page.
The team covers the end to end process of build from, Foundations, Brick laying and Roofing, to Carpentry work, Plastering, tiling and painting. They always go out of their way to help source materials at the cheapest prices and go the extra mile if we are struggling to source an item.

We have been working with Lee and Ben since 2016, they are the dynamic duo behind Mannix PHG and have never let us down. Lee and Ben use technology to manage maintenance issues like sending videos and having video calls from tenants so small issues can be resolved without the need for a call out charge, this benefits both landlords and tenants due to the speed of response and cost. This means only real emergencies incur the call out charge.
